Weddings are beautiful celebrations full of color, light, and love.
My passion is capturing their every special, fleeting moment.

In 2000, I was the photographer for my high school yearbook. The yearbook advisor, a young journalism teacher, asked me to shoot her small wedding as a favor. I didn’t have much idea what I was doing, but I made it through the day unscathed. After the wedding I spent weeks organizing, editing, tweaking, and processing images until they presented the story of that day. When I delivered them, her reaction was magical. I could see in her eyes that she was reliving her wedding through my images. The joy it brought her, and the excitement her joy created in me, changed the course of my life.

I went on to attend the School of Visual Communications at Ohio University, taking classes at the Scotland Field School for Photojournalism in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the Queensland College of Art in Brisbane, Australia, along the way. I lived in Ohio, Miami, Hartford, Boston, and finally settled in New York City.

In the years since, I have photographed countless weddings, but the excitement of delivering a set of wedding photographs to a bride has never diminished. Wedding photography provides the rare and amazing opportunity to create something that will be treasured for a lifetime and beyond.

If you’re a bride or groom to be I would love to discuss photographing your wedding. I travel anywhere in the world.
